Hi, I would love to connect with anyone in this family. She was my grandmother's birth mother and I would like more information on her. I know that in 1928 she had some mental issues shortly after the birth of her last child Lavina She had children by at least 2 different husbands, but need proof on this.. My grandmother was her second daughter, Violet Rose who at 6 weeks with her mother and older sister moved from Storm Lake, IA to Holdrege, NE and Violet was placed in temporary custody but some how ended up adopted instead and Emeli had tried to get her back and was not allowed to have her.
I would love to know what happened if any one knows (I have before adoption records and knowledge of her second(?) marriage and births of other children. But she has had various surnames associated with her and I would love to know more about her, her medical history and her family and family's medical history.
