Gormlaith mac Flainn - Two Questions RE Gormlaith

Good morning,

I have two questions RE: Gormlaith and I hope this is not nitpicking.

First - Since she is female should her name have a 'nic' rather than 'mac'?

Second (This question also applies to her brothers) - Should the last name be Flann instead of Flainn? This is the name of their father.

Yes, this is right. I can’t find her referred to by anything but her given name, in the sources.
