In my findings, I have documented William Frink b. 1793 - d. 1859 who married Anna Reaves. I agree with this totally.

I also have in my lineage a William Pinkney Frink b. 1835 - d. 1862 in the Civil War. He was married to Amanda Lennon b. 1837 - d. 1913.

What I do not have is any physical 1st or 2nd level sources stating or indicating that William Frink b. 1793 - d. 1859 has a middle name of Pinkney. This has created some mystery, concerns and doubt in whose who because of the reference to the Pinkney mille name of William Frink married to Anna Reaves.

Can anyone out here please enlighten me on the sources for that Pinkney middle name for the William Frink b. 1793.

Greatly appreciated.

I intend to look at these two couples to see what I can find. I am a descendant of Christopher Columbus Reeves, son of Austin Smith Reeves/Reaves and Matilda Mae Hargett (Christopher Columbus Reeves/Austin Smith Reeves/Benjamin Franklin Reeves/Asa Reeves/George Reeves
My great-grandmother, Cora Ann Reeves Thomas was born in Centralia, Illinois in 1866. Her parents were Christopher Reeves and Nancy Smith Reeves.
Cora Reeves married Charles Sherman Thomas, the son of Leroy Thomas and Nancy Eleanor Frink(Nancy/Jabez/Jabez/Christopher /William/Samuel/John). Nancy was the daughter of Jabez Frink and Eleanor Randall. Leroy Thomas was the son of Philander Thomas and Hester Ann Ellis. All of these people lived in or near Marion County or Monroe County, Illinois. Their families had migrated to Illinois from Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts. Some branches of the same families had spread into Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Ohio, and also made their way eventually into Illinois.
Hester Ann Ellis was a direct descendants of Constance Snow and her father, Stephen Hopkins, Mayflower passengers. They were not Puritans. Stephen Hopkins had been a founder of Jamestowne, and joined the Mayflower when they stopped in England to work as translator to the Indians. Stephen Hopkins was a signator of the Mayflower Compact.
I believe that you and I are cousins through the Reeves/Reaves family, as well as through the Frink Family.
