I just added a screenshot under the Media tab - don't know how to add one to the About section. Anyway, it lists this John and his siblings and only names their father as Baron MacAuselan and doesn't name their mother. It lists this John as the husband of the daughter 'Nans' of Alexander Colquhoun and shows them as the parents of Katherine who married Robert Colquhoun.

However, John is connected here on Geni to parents named Charles McAuselan and Eleanor Cook, which doesn't match anything in the above lineage. I'm not seeing any notes in Charles' profile to indicate he was this John's father.
John's About section shows validation for John being the father of Katherine who married Robert Colquhoun, but I see nothing to validate the parents connected here on Geni or to contradict the lineage I posed under the Media tab. So I think the connection to Charles and Elanor is incorrect.
