Hello Curators,

I performed a merge on Jan. 29th or Jan. 30th to try to correct an issue and I lost half my tree. I lost my father's entire side of the tree. I did not realize a merge could do this.

Please revert the only merge I have ever performed, either on Jan. 29th, 2024 or Jan. 30th. I believe the merge was on Thomas J. McNeil or his father Martin McNeil.

My site link is - https://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/387191912100012268

Please let me know if more info is needed. Thank you !!!
Jerry

I found my only merge history as below.
Jerry Morris merged a duplicate profile for Bridget McNeil. Mon at 5:05 PM. (Jan. 29th)
Jerry Morris merged a duplicate profile for Martin McNeil. Mon at 5:05 PM (Jan. 29th)

I believe this is what has caused half my tree to disappear?

Thank you - Jerry

The McNeil's are on your mother's side. Those would have no bearing on your father's side of the tree. I see lots of profiles showing on your father's side. What do you think is missing?

When I go to your profile and click Actions, then Ancestor Report, I see Ancestors of your mother and your father.

What procedure are you using to see your Tree?
Or what makes you think your father's side is missing?

Geni had some problems. Do you see the tree when you look at https://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/355110706580013292?
