Appear to be married to a Hannah Tankard.
They are definitely different Benjamins
Coincidence?
Mistake?

Seems to be a mistake.
The older Benjamin born in 1743 died in 1769 was never married according to his entry in
https://homepages.rootsweb.com/~jmbhome/dewhirst%20roger%20whalley....
Whereas the younger Benjamin 1759-1826 was married to Hannah Dewhirst
according to his entry in https://homepages.rootsweb.com/~jmbhome/dewhursthomastas.html
