In the name of God Amen I Roger Gibson of Kershaw County being in a low state of health but in perfect state of mind and memory think it best to dispose of my worldly effects in manner following Vis
I lend to my beloved WIFE MARY GIBSON during her natural life in lieu of dower, one third part of my estate both personal and real, and I give and bequeath to my two chidlren Samuel and William Gibson the remainder of my estate both real and personal to be equally divided between them share and share alike, to them and their heirs forever. Its to be considered that Title has been made to my son Samule Gibson for a tract of Land by ISAAC ROSS the value of which land is to be taken out of his part of the estate remaining and lastly I nominated and appoint my Uncle Isaac Ross and Zacharrah Canty Executors to this my last will and testament.
Signed and acknowledged in Camden this 18th day of May 1795 to my wish in case of death of either of my children the remaining one to inherit his share of the estate and in case both of my children should died before they come of age its my gfurther wish that my estate be divided equally between my beloved wife before mentioned and my mother Abigail Sutton.
