Family photos are solving a few mysteries. This GGM's name was Elisa "Alsy" was a nickname. Her parents were Hugh and Lucy Gill. :)
I'm challenging everyone, please call all of your relatives and have them dig out the old photographs. We have Daguerreotype and Ambrotype photos, some are dated in the 1840s.... we are fortunate many have names inside the cases.
Please share the photos...... and look on the back, at times we may be missing a bit of history.
