Johannes “the Hessian” is my direct line. He’s my 6th great grandfather! I just started a tree in Geni so there is no pathway yet to anyone here. However, I do have a big tree on Ancestry that I can provide the link to. I am hoping that someone in here might have some of Johannes records/belongings that they would not mind digging out and sharing with me. I am in desperate need to find out if he was captured or deserted the British army. Any copies of artifacts from his life would be an honor. I am piecing together a writing document and would like as much of the truth as possible. Thank you so much!
