Johanna Carolina Paulina Avenant had two out of wedlock sons (one named Willem Lambertus Vos and another named Johannes Pieter le Hanie). When she married Andries Pieter Janzen in 1843, she was 31 years old and indicated as "jonge dogter" (instead of as divorced or widowed). I have a theory that the father of Willem Lambertus is this man: Willem Lambert Vos, b7 as Johanna Carolina was the witness to his daughter, Johanna Maria Catharina Vos's christening in August 1827, 7 months before the birth of a son born out of wedlock and named Willem Lambertus Vos.
