Bonjour!
Why would "Petter Johanneksenpoika Kärpänen" and "Marie Catherine FRESSYNET" be Jeanne Catherine's parents? The marriage document between Jean Marie Etienne NEYRIEUX and Jeanne Catherine BONNAND from 4.8.1888 available at the Archives du Rhône "clearly" state who the bride's parents are and these are different names. Not Finnish at least. :)
