The 1813 marriage has Charlotte SUTTON marrying William BRITTEN with witnesses Matthew HUGHES, Thomas BERRINGTON and Harriet MITCHELL

The 1822 Australian Muster has Charlotte as arriving free on "Active" in 1791

The 1825 Australian Muster has Charlotte as arriving free on "Active"

The 1828 Australian Muster has Charlotte as born in the colony aged 30 (born c1798)

The 1832 death record has Charlotte as being aged 35, no parents listed (born c1797)

The 1828 and 1832 records has Charlotte being born c1797-98. If this is correct she can't have arrived in Australia in 1791

If she was born c1797-98 she would have only been 15/16 when she married in 1813 but neither of her parents are listed as witnesses.

What is the evidence that connects her as the daughter of William Talbot SUTTON and Mary Ann ADAMS?

Who are the 3 witnesses at her wedding? - Matthew HUGHES, Thomas BERRINGTON and Harriet MITCHELL. Did they have any connection to her or her husband?

Charlotte's mother Mary Ann Sutton appears to be married and having children to 2 men at the same time

husband 1 - William Talbot Sutton - born and died in England - married in England 1769 and had children in England between 1776 and 1829
husband 2 - William P Johnston - born and died in America - no marriage date - had a son in 1796 in America

What is the source that the same woman married / had relationships with both of these men?

Merged Mary ADAMS buried 20/12/1823 wife of William Talbot SUTTON
with
Mary ADAMS buried 15/3/1823 wife of William P JOHNSTON

I will reverse it

Says that Charlotte's father was William SUTTON who came to Australia as a convict in 1790 on "Scarborough"

William SUTTON from the Scarborough was an Officer in the Excise was convicted of forging at Old Bailey on 8/7/1789 and was transported for life
had a wife and 4 children
brought his family with him
Absolute pardoned in 1794
returned to England on "David Shaw" in 1818

William SUTTON on the Scarborough was born in 1762
returned to England before 1797
returned to Australia with wife Ann and daughters Sarah born 1788 and Harriet on "Porpoise" in 1801
returned to England with wife Ann and daughter Harriet on "David Shaw" in 1818

This does not match to her father on Geni - William Talbot Sutton
