Leonard Halvard Thormod (Thormodsgard) is my 1st cousin one removed! My great grandfather is Rev Halvor (Halvard) O. Thormodsgard. He was married to Andrea Kjerstine Gundersen and they had three children. My grandmother, Martha Ingrid Thormodsgard was their second born child.
Andrea Kjerstine died 25 July 1895 in Mt.Vernon, Davison, South Dakota.
Rev. Halvor O Thormodsgard married Inga Gerline(a) Peterson on 12 Oct 1898 in Nicollet County, Minnesota. The children of Inga and Hallvor use the surrname: Thormod.
