I added a copy of the Orig probated Will .

I'm not sure where we find his middle name on a legal document, Does anyone have a legal document showing his full name as James Monroe Ayer (Ayres) ?

If so, please upload the document or documents.

Also, we still need a copy of the marriage bond showing his wife's birth surname. Everything I've found is surname unknown.

Also, where did we come up that he was a Captain? Was he a ship captain? His DAR service was for supplying supplies, not being a soldier.

The Trigg lineage is known for the strange Probated Will problems, guess the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Abuse is learned over generations until it's stopped.

Came across quite a few original documents, many of James' children sued The Estate of Hannah Ayers, stating she changed the terms of their father's Will, made her own choices, and didn't honor his will. She had a favorite son. They sued their mother!
