if I could contact a descendant of Zorakh Arluck (aka Arliuk) who lived out his days in Tel Aviv, Israel. Such contact could permit the family to develop the Arluk-Rabinovitsh tree into earlier periods of history. According to descendants, the family comes from a rabbinical dynasty. One hypothesis is: descent from R' Yitzchak Leib Rabinowitz, AB''D Vila Gaon Shul

Another clue to this dynasty is the following inscription from the old cemetery of Divenishok (Dieveniskes): From Old Cemetery of Divenishok:

"Here rests the descendant of rabbinic dynasty, famous and learned Eliyahu, son of the learned Meir Yosef. [His soul ascended] on the holy Shabbat in the year 5606, 3rd of Shvat (January 30, 1846). May his soul be tied into the knot of life."
