A lot of the data seems to make this possible but it makes significant differences in the connection between the Weisberger and Lichtig families

The other day I found an 1857 Census record with an Abraham WEISBERGER married to a Tova Sonentheil, with children Abraham born in 1857 and Borbola born in 1853.
My thinking is that Abraham had two wives named Toba, with the first - SONENTHEIL - appearing in the 1857 Census and the second - LICHTIG - in the 1869 - (and other documents)...
Here is a list of hints beyond the name matching:
1) Abraham born in 1827 per 1857 Census and 1830 per 1869 Census.
2) Elias/Illes born in 1857 in both
3) Villages are the same or immediately adjoining on all related records, i.e. essentially the same location
4) Analysis: First cousins from same village or very closeby - i.e. Illes and Illes - matching given names is common, but the same exact year is more precise, having matching given names of father is even more precise.
5) More tenuous: The obituary of Berko, Illes's younger brother - see the Media tab on his Profile - mentions living sibling Harry and deceased William, Sam, Morris and Rebecca. They are siblings who came over to the USA, and it's not clear that the only reason they're mentioned is due to familiarity from whomever submitted the obit to the newspaper. While that's most likely the case, it also seems possible that these are the only children of both Abraham AND Toba LICHTIG who survived childhood. The others - including my g-grandfather Illes - possibly had a different mother. Again, perhaps this is no hint at all, and the facts lie with the previous ideas. (Also perhaps Borbola died young and Berko is a B for that reason...)
I did search more on JewishGen and found more SONENTHEIL people from the same villlage cluster in the Topla River Valley; they are at least cousins, possibly more.
I am going to take a look if there any non-Indexed records on FamilySearch...
