The date usually given for Rachel's birth, April 6, 1803, is suspect. It is too close to the birthdate of her older brother, Aaron. His tombstone says he was born on Sept 24, 1802 (I have a photo, perhaps other records). If Rachel had been born later in 1804, or in 1804 or maybe even 1805, her birth would be far enough her younger sister Nancy to be plausible.
