For as long as I've used Geni I've never used the simple place name entry box. I prefer to open the details and fill in the fields individually.
I'm curious as to how others are mapping the names into each field. Obviously this needs to flex for the time period.
1851 example:
Milton of Conon, Carmylie, Forfar(shire), Scotland
Milton of Conon - Place Name
Carmylie - City
Forfar(shire) - County
Scotland - State
UK - Country
1891 example:
10 Anderson St, Arbroath, St. Vigeans, Forfar, Scotland
10 Anderson St - Address Line 1
Arbroath - City
Forfar - County
Scotland - State
