Upon her crypt is written these words.....Here lyeth the body of Dame Margaret's Lygon daughter to the aforesaid John Talbott and sister to this Dame Bridget Talbott that lieth heard and wife to Sr Arnould Lygon of Beauchampes Coort Shee decesed February the 24th Anno Domini 1632.............indicating that Sir Arnold was still alive.......Margaret is buried here with her father, her mother, her sister and her brother........
The marriage of John Baker to Margaret Talbot (or Taulbett as the record is written... indicating she was never married prior otherwise she would have been listed as Margaret Lygon......was not his Margaret Talbot..... and I strongly doubt it was the John Baker of Mancroft.........given the distance.....
