Sir
I do understand that you are trying to assist me with this problem and I do appreciate it
but the problem being, most of these added profiles are managed by other people ,
now I do understand the Geni is a world Genealogical Site but when you have people just
slam you with several branches of a tree that they say is your extended family ( so far out on
the branch they are not even a leaf bud ) and then do not add you to that profile
what do you do. Oh yea you ask them to remove the offending profile because they have not
added any sources for their information and you basically get told "NO " and turns
you in the Geni for bad language, or get ignored completely.. Well so be it that's the world
according to Genealogical sites that allow others to add their uncollaborated information
and lock you, the actual tree manager out. O.K. so what do you do,? you grin and bear it,
carry on as if nothing happened, that's fine also. Now knowing what I do now I never would
have placed my family tree on Geni, but since I have and now cannot delete it I have to
grin and bear it. Now I have been asked if I would confirm "Smart Matches or Mirage's
between two or more profiles within the "added unsolicited information " that I am not a
manager of then I have to say NO and let it sit simply because I Did Not Add Them,
I Do Not Want Them and I Am Not Added (for the most part) As A Manager.
If the above posting get's me banned from Geni then so be it at this point
in time I just do not care.

It is there for you to learn from.
And if it offends you, even better,
because you are less likely to repeat it.
History is not yours to change or destroy. "
