Given that we now know Petter Hagen's wife passed away in Turku Castle Parish before 1688, is it possible to obtain further details about her? If so, which documents should we consult and where can we find them? Parish Registers, Probate Records, Court Records, Land Records?
"The priests who were involved in the funeral service were entitled to compensation for their troubles. For example, Gabriel Wallenius, the pastor at Turku Castle, complained in January 1689 that Captain Petter Hagen, despite his promises, had not paid his wife's funeral money to the pastor. The captain was ordered to pay six thalers."
