Medlands calls Reginald I "Renaud de Mâcon...comte de Bourgogne".
Being "de Mâcon" would be useful to add either in the profile name OR in alternate names so it comes up if someone enters "Renaud de Mâcon" trying to find this profile page.
Possibly "de Mâcon" might represent his town of birth?... though seldom do medieval sources provide precise towns of birth.

I found I could added the clarifying alternate name under Other Names. I made no changes to the profile name, which is best left to a curator to decide to change or leave the same.

Hello Ken,

I think it is a good suggestion to indicate which line this is, he is the son of Otto Guillaume I de Bourgogne (Guglielmo di Ivrea), comte de Mâcon & de Nevers, contested Duke of Burgundy
It is not a bad idea to distinguish between the Burgundy lines.
In my family tree (I am a proven descendant of John II, Duke of Brabant and Limburg) I have as ancestors Eudes I 'Borel' de Bourgogne (Bourgogne), duc de Bourgogne (great-grandson of Hugues Capet) son of Henri 'le Damoiseau' de Bourgogne, duc de Bourgogne (Capet line) who married Sybille de Bourgogne, daughter of Guillaume I "le Grand" Bourgogne de Mâcon, count palatine de Bourgogne, granddaughter of Reginald I (Ivrea) Burgundy, count palatine of Burgundy my paternal and maternal 25th great grandfather.( line de Mâcon/Ivrea)
I always make a distinction between those houses, I have several lines that end there.

Kind regards, Angelina Nota - Kruize.

Reginald I Burgundy, count palatine of Burgundy is my 25th great grandfather.
