I believe that the name Koloman was probably the Germanic variation of the Hungarian name 'KALMAN' which was the name of his ancestor Moshe Klonimus Kalman Gescheit (1812-1888), which also happened to be the name of my grandfather Kalman Klonimus Gescheit (1900-1990).
The name Koloman could also have been a misspelling of the name Solomon.
My grandfather's Hebrew name was Klonimus ben Yosef who I am named after.
