Yitzchok Kaplan I purchased a scan of the Lipschuetz file from the National Library of Israel. Due to the copyright protection conditions made by the NLI, I cannot publish any part of the document publicly. If you can provide me with an email address I'll send you privately the biographical entry referred to as being the source of R' Ysroel's death year. As an easier alternative, I have added as a second source the Ysroel b. Eliezer entry from the Encyclopedia Judaica and posted the relevant part of that article as an image to the profile.
