I wouldn't assume anything without evidence, if I were you (you never know what will turn up). And please don't *ever* chop off the category signifier! That can mislead people into chasing up the wrong haplogroup(s).

In this particular case all the listed SNPs are subsets of the overall category R-M269 (aka R1b). It is *very important* to know that.

If you want to claim he's not R1b at all, but I or G or J or something else, you need to present some evidence,

Apologies for not folliwing the guidelines for posts, right i shouldn't assume, but the odds are unlikely that the line in question might have the following SNPs.. R1b-L1335, R- L1065, R-S744, R-S764, R-FGC28985 ...

Somebody went and tagged several members of the line with a suffix "DNA", so somebody *thinks* they know. Unfortunately they don't seem to have included *what* they know.
