Charley Brewster Ross was kidnapped from in front of his home in Germantown, PA on July 1, 1874. Soon it will be 150 years since Charley's abduction. It would be good for the manager of this site to notify a world class newspaper such as the Philadelphia Inquirer or the New York Times of the fact that Charley actually survived his kidnapping, eventually married and produced two daughters. It would make timely news since the anniversary of the stealing of this four-year-old child will occur in just two short weeks from now, June 18, 2024. There are surely others such as myself who would love to know that Charley lived even though his childhood and his family was stolen from him.
