Profiles Mentioned:

The following information in The Woodbridge Record, by Louis Mitchell, Esquire, privately printed at New Haven 1883. (Yes, I have an original copy, 91 of 200):

18 II. Rev. John, b. June 10, 1678. D. June 10, 1718.
m. Jemima Eliot (b. Nov. 14, 1679), Nov. 14, 1699. His wife was a
daughter of the Rev. Jos. Eliot of Guilford, and a granddaughter of
the "Apostle Eliot." In 1718, 100 acres of land were granted by the
Genl. Court to Jemima, widow of John Woodbridge of West Springfield.
"She petitions (1720) for it to be laid out near Voluntown or Killingly."

She outlived her husband and passed the latter years of her life with
her sons Timo. and Jos. at Stockbridge, Mass.

End of comments regarding Jemima Eliot Woodbridge. Death unknown, but obviously not as early as indicated in various records. My comments: leave as death unknown until verified by documents.

Sincerely,

Cary Lewis Galloway
