WOW! I have no recollection of "Rosannah Hyatt" in my Russell lineage. I have as the spouse of Matthew Russell Jr 1771-1846 as Rozine Strain which used to be spelled Straughn. The occasional use of Rozine as the name of a grand-daughter or great-granddaughter of Rozine Strain Russell has been noted by me.

My Russell lineage is as follows:
Matthew Russell Sr. ca 1735
Matthew Russell Jr 1771-1846 and Rozine Strain
Sarah E Russell (Kimsey)
Elizabeth Ann Kimsey (Whitaker)
Amanda Caroline Whitaker (Rickett)
George Rickett
Paul Kenneth Rickett
ME Kenneth Lee Rickett

Rozine Strain or Straughn was a daughter of Andrew Strain or Straughn Sr. who was a Rev War Patriot

I will add this note. In 1850 Macon Co NC census Anderson Russell (age in 40s) and his wife (age around 40) are listed with the next person named is Rozine whose age looks like 14, but a closer look that 14 seems to be 74 which would be right on target for Rozine if she were born ca. 1776. Then a list of Anderson Russell's children begin at age 20 with decreasing ages for each child. I do not think a child was listed out of birth order, I thnik the "14" as the age of Rozine is "74" and as such it would be the primary evidence that Rozine lived past 1850 census. If Matthew Russell, Rozine's husband died in 1846, then it is also possible that Rozine died before 1850. Where did the death date of 1852 come? Definitely some more research needed.

Private User women often get conflated, probably more than men.
Please do add what you know and perhaps a curator will help to get them solid and MP them?!

These are two different women-- one married Elisha Hyatt and the other married Matthew Russell, Jr is what I am seeing
