How do we remove David Rice as Father? I see no evidence this person existed in 1664. David Rice McAnally existed as a descendent of Charles 1685, son John 1713. I suggest we remove until evidence can be presented to support. The father of our immigrant Charles has been a Brick wall for decades.

FT DNA has sufficient participants to demonstrate with certainty the family Modal DNA signature. The Memoirs of David Rice McAnally, have been validated in as much as Charles b1731 is proven by DNA to be a brother of John.

With the Y DNA?
I can’t see if it is two different types attached but appears to be R-Y and the other I cannot readily see so likely from a while back? Like 2010? I just remember being informed that the YDNA that doesn’t show clearly is from Geni profiles/info attached years ago

Thank you for your reply! I have just returned from a week camping at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games celebrating Scottish Heritage. Great Fun. Thank you for your edit. I will continue to look for supporting evidence of a David Rice McAnally Born in 1664.

We have stalled in understanding or fully determining the impact of R-Y11250 for 2 individuals of the McAnally YDNA project on FTDNA. I understand we need more participants.
