The dates used are not the same as the ones seen in Wikipedia. Is there another source?

I think we need to either remove the dates are match them to Wikipedia.

Yes, the dates need to be fixed. There isn't a caonsensus amongst demographers about the "official" ranges, but we tend to default to using Wikipedia for most contentious things on Geni, so I'm fine with letting them decide. :)

We also need to not have the strange divisions, like cutting the Boomer and Gen X time frames in half. Those projects should be merged.

It's important that we fix these before many more profiles get added.

I would add that the "Y2K" term for Millennials doesn't get used at all anymore...I would totally get rid of that in that project name. The Medium table gets it right, except "Alpha" should be "Generation Alpha".
