Curators need to manually report them to Geni, who needs to manually remove them altogether, with double checks needed at both steps. Sometimes we fall behind. Also, there are some isolated trees we want to keep - legends and myths, for example, or known frauds.
Perhaps send a note to the curator if you think they need the reminder.
