It is noted that her birth surname should be Phipps, married a Johnstone. I am not sure that we can really count on this being accurate. No real source cited for Mary Susanna Phipps. Needs more work, I think, but it is what we have so far. I have always been curious as to which "cousin" the unknown spouse was to Gilbert Johnsotone.
