George Taylor and family were members of St. Paul's Parish of Hanover County, Virginia. In the Vestry Book, it's listed Reverend in the 1750's was the Reverend Patrick Henry. He was the uncle of Patrick Henry who moved to Leatherwood plantation in 1771. Leatherwood was about 25 miles from George's son, James the Sadler Taylor's home. The Vestry book shows James living in Hanover County in the 1760's. I believe that James went with Patrick Henry to Pittsylvania County, which is now Henry County.
