Does anyone know Scott?

Private

He and I have a LOT of ancestors and relatives in common and I'd love to collaborate with him but the 30 or so requests I've sent over the last year have gone unanswered. Does he still use geni? Any thoughts appreciated!

Sorry dont have him as a collaborator either. Shows though that he logged in on December 26, 2009 - so I guess he is still out there. Another one of the holdouts!!!!

I just came back from the forum (whew!) and found that Scott is a huge contributor here (like we don't know that!). He helped geni out a year or so ago by uploading a huge gedcom that accidentally got leaked to the public and caused all the dupes. He's been working on clearing them himself. But I still don't know why he won't at least respond to one of the many, many emails I've sent if only just to get me to stop! LOL! Maybe he'll see my forum message and reply. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Oy, I've found a treasure trove recently of several lines of my own that I recently put on. Another gedcom had all of my great-aunts and all of their descendants, and I had not had any information on three of them at all. I still have one great-aunt, my aunt Maude, for whom I have pictures, but no children.

There is danger in large GEDCOMs if the sponsor does not take responsibility for the data therein.

Hey is prolly THE biggest contributor here... I've asked to be a collaborator as well and although we've spoke on the forums many times, he's never accepted... I DO KNOW however there are MANY other old timers here, that ARE collaborators with him and can finish any merges you wish to complete, just post the request up on the forums and someone there will get it done for you!

Post your merge issues with Scott on Merge Issues 6 - a public discussion. Someone there will help.

Thanks, guys. They aren't all MY issues - they're part of the 24,000 I'm trying to help clean up. I guess I'll bookmark that discussion and post 'em as I find 'em. Thanks, again!

Has anyone checked with Ancestry.com?
