Yes, I also found the listing on the internet. My mother, born 1913, never knew it, although they frequently visited in Waco. Fannie's brother was a partner in the Goldstein-Migel Co., Waco's leading department store for many years.
When we visited in Waco in 2003, we went thru the elaborate Victorian Migel family home, near downtown, which had been donated to the city. Now, I've heard it has been torn down.
This is DAvid MIgel Lerman, from Milwaukee. My great grandfather was Louis Migel - connected somehow. growing up, when the elders in my mother's family were around, we had always heard about the "migel's in waco", but never really knew much about them. when i did my early geneaology digging in 1975-ish, (obviously pre computer), i was only able to find goldberg-drachman information. so, even hearing about a large house brings a smile.
