Louis van Bengale was a former slave (who had purchased his own freedom) who had one marriage and several defacto relationships including one with Lijsbeth van der Kaap later known as Lijsbeth Sanders. Lijsbeth was a slave Louis had purchased and subsequently freed with her two daughters. Later on they had a falling out and he tried to have her re-enslaved.
Two daughters were apparently born of this relationship, Elizabeth
(Lijsbeth) and Maria. They, together with their half-sister Anna born from Louis' relationship with Maria van der Kaap, later became known as Elizabeth, Maria and Anna Louisz.
Johannes Hoffman(n) married Maria Louisz/van der Kaap.
Lijsbeth van der Kaap/Sanders also had several relationships, including one with Johann Herfst. That union produced two children, Clara and Gerbregt.

There is some confusion about whether Lijsbeth van der Kaap/Sanders was
the woman involved in a fracas with Anna van Guinea - but Hattingh
(Hattingh, J.L.: Die blanke nageslag van Louis van Bengale) makes a
compelling argument that it was not Lijsbeth Sanders. However, in 1696
she was convicted, lashed and sentenced to three years for stealing the
jewelry of Jacob Cornelissen van Bengale.
I do recommend getting a copy of Hattingh's article. It appeared in
Kronos Vol. 3, 1980 and can be ordered from the University of the
Western Cape. 1
