I know that your grandmother Beverly and my grandfather John are happy somewhere in the old section of heaven spreading out the broadening family tree. It really is cool when you think about it. And to think that it all came from two friends who fought the Civil War together, established Yazoo City, MS, as a county seat and home to a great many veterans, and raised those Griffin children in that house halfway up Broadway. I wonder if they knew how hugely cool it was that one (S.S.) held his best friend’s (Dr. McCormick’s) baby (Helen) at her Christening, and married her 16 years later. I just know how hugely cool it is to know that all these successful people on your page and mine came from that small moment. We need to bring these people together. Still the best place is Greenwood Cemetary in YC. Love, John
