Françoise Chaumeret's husband Antoine Chabrat [alternate: Chebrat, Chabrol] and her daughter Jeanne Chabrat both went to Port Royal, Acadie; now Nova Scotia, Canada. Antoine died there in 1662; Jeanne married there in 1642. That leaves Antoine and his wife Françoise on separate continents, both still alive. Divorced? She went to Acadie, and died while making an unusual return visit? Or, daughter Jeanne went alone, and Antoine followed when he was widowed? Unlikely, single women rarely took this trip; most married in France then departed for Acadie.
