He is listed on 1871 Ontario census, 1880 Crookston, Polk, Minnesota census, 1880 Crookston, Polk, Minnesota census, two 1885 Crookston, Polk, Minnesota census. It seems somewhat unlikely that he would then return to Canada in 1908.
