Bobby's first name

I vaguely recall my grandmother telling me that she was born with the name Beatrice, but had the name legally changed to Bobby because she did not like the name "Beatrice."

@It is wonderful to read the memories of both Fred and Benjamin regarding my mother, Bobby. When my mother married my father, Benjamin Becker, he always called her Bobby. the name was officially changed after they were married. I believe that the name Beatrice Sarah was used throughout
her schooling. I will review their K'tubah to verify is this is true. Thank you for your memories as they mean a great deal to me.
