Kerstin Pålsdotter and Nils Jonasson married in 1871 in Föllinge, Jämtland, Sweden. In 1872 the church book notes they emigrated to Utah, North-America.

You have married her to a Jonas Eriksson. When and where?

Bo-Arne,

I sent the message on to my sister to see if she knows anything, but I don't have any marriage dates to prove it. I'll call her in the afternoon tomorrow to get the answer back to you sooner.

oh my... she gave me the dates and I had them on the reply and I was about to edit and press send, but life got in the way and I... okay, tomorrow I'll do it again, but she changed her name to Christine in America, married Jonas Eriksson as a second husband in Salt Lake City Utah. I'm so sorry... I did have the date they got married.

She used the name Christina in Utah and married Jonas Eriksson; no children.

Does that also mean no children in the first marriage ?
When did Nils Jonasson die?

Bo-Arne,
Kristina Polson's first husband died 26 Aug 1909
there was one child from that marriage that died in 1870, at one week old.
There were no children from the second marriage.
Regards,
Denise

I meant Christina (Kerstin) Eriksson (Pålsdotter), but my sister's message said Polson, so I copied her words. Her first husband was Nils Jonasson, if I wasn't being clear.

I missed that because the household records did not note a child born before the emigration. But now I searched the birth records and a son Jonas was born on July 10th 1871 (not 1870!), just three months after the marriage (April 9th). He died on July 17th 1871.
