Cora Richter, age 96, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2007 at Martha’s Retirement Home in Princeton. She was born on August 16, 1910 in Princeton, a daughter of the late Julius and Eureka Brown. Cora married Norbert Richter, who preceded her in death in 1996. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Princeton. Cora was an excellent cook who also enjoyed gardening. She especially liked rose bushes and African violets. Cora is survived by her son; Carleton (Jean) Richter of Princeton; 9 grandchildren, Martha Richter, Karin (Jay) Hall, Carter (Bobbi) Richter, Marie (Terry) Van Rossum, Mary Richter, Marion (Greg) Schumann all of Princeton; Sarah (Kurt) Gosdeck of Kewaskum, Carlin (Barb) Richter of Neshkoro, Carver Richter of Ripon; 13 great grandchildren, Parker Richter; Durand and Payton Hall; Cooper, Conner, Libby and Collin Richter; Jordan and Autumn Gosdeck; Cora and Baron Van Rossum; Kayla Klug and Katelyn Richter; brother, Victor (Faye) Brown of Florida; other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Louis Brown. A funeral service for Cora Richter will take place on Friday, March 2, at 11:30 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00, at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Robert Pless officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Memory Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
