(The foregoing Elizabeth Nichols is a Chase ancestor, through the 12 April 1698 marriage of James Wood to Experience Fuller. Currently search is in progress for the ancestry of William Nichols, born 17 September 1768 at Mansfield, Conn. If this is a connection, Louis P. Willsea II would have consanguinity with his wife, Mary Ada Chase Willsea.)
The William Nichols line goes back to Allyn (or Allen) Nichols, but it seems one or two generations are missing between him an Elizabeth Nichols.
