“Veekkam enbadhu Valarchiyalla” was a popular quote I remember from my student days…. Still , I find many people / businesses / Govts wanting to GROW at the shortest possible time. .. how do we differentiate between Desire & Greed ? Is it only through examples ? I am witnessing one such example of Dubai as a country ( struggling now contrary to its image) …. An year ago we have witnessed Satyam as a company…. And among people we might have seen several examples ….. In all these examples , we realize the lesson only after the unpalatable experience and till such a time the same case study was also quoted as a source of Inspiration. Till a month ago , TOYOTA was a case study of inspiration for Six Sigma in every business school and now with so many product recalls the same company is a case study for “Greed for growth and being No-1 resulting in a compromise on Quality” .
