Genalogy should be done with precision and not helter-skelter. Information presented should researched thoroughly and verified for accuracy.

Whereas it is true that my grandfather was James (Jayme) Wahnon, who was born in S. Vicente, Cape Verde, and did in fact die in 1943, the person, Jaime Wahnon with the SKYPE logo next to his name is much younger and still lives, in Canada.

The way you present the information regarding my grandfather James (Jayme) and his wife and "partner" (these things should be thoroughly researched), is confusing, to say the least, and incorrect. The descendents of James (Jayme) and Maria Conceição Pinto were: Carlos, Raquel, Alice, and Isaac, all with the middle name Pinto and the surname Wahnon.

The descendents of James (Jayme) and Antónia Maria Fortes (later Wahnon) were: (1) Jacob James Wahnon; James Wahnon Jr.; (3) Pedro (Peter) James Wahnon; (4) Maria Aldegundes Wahnon; (5) Maria Augusta Wahnon; (6) Maria José Wahnon. I will not go into details of the extended families (it would be in conflict with my own work, in progress).

As for my Grandfather's brothers and sisters (all offsprings of Isaac Wahnon and Rachel Levy Bentubo Wahnon, they were not 15, they were 14, of which one died rather young. The other 13, two males and 11 females, survived, lived long lives, and generated quite an extended legacy of which I am proud to be a part. As I already stated already, information for genealogy work should be researched thoroughly before it is published. Otherwise it is a deservice.
