Anna's year of death is listed as 1909 in "Genealogies of Three Large Families of Lewis County, New York: The Farney Family 1795-1988; The Rev. Rudolph Virkler Family 1792-1988; The Zehr Family 1789-1988 1989" (third update, Two Volumes, 1997 pages) vice the 1919 date cited elsewhere. The same date is listed in the first edition published in 1933 and the second edition published in 1969. These are admittedly secondary sources. Is there a Zehr family primary source, or a competing secondary source?

I am not aware of either actually, but they all came up as having conflicts with
merging issues. I will take whatever one you want to go with. :-)

There is a Bradley Zehr listed as a manager as well as you. Is he merged with
yours, as well? If not, you may want to contact him.

Well, Lowville Journal and Republican has a 1909 reference to the funeral of a "Mrs. Anna Farney" in Croghan, as well as the reading of her will.

The funeral date was June 3, 1909 in Croghan, according to the LJR blurb.

Text from a June, 1909, Lowville Journal and Republican:
"CROGHAN.
Death of Mrs. John Farney, a Pioneer resident, at the age of 90 years.
Michael Farney, of Fairbury Ill., and Joseph Farney, of Forrest, Ill., who were called here by the death of their mother, Mrs. John Farney, have been spending a few days with their brother, Jacob Farney and family."
I think this Mrs. John Farney is Anna Zehr.

It sounds like the 1919 date may have been a typo.
