Isn't John of Gaunt the son of Edward III Plantagenet, who is the son of Edward II, who is the son of Edward I Longshanks? They were here (well Edward III and Edward II, and his mother, then I refreshed the page and the generations went missing!

It may be good to give the link to the one you mean - searching for "John of Gaunt" gives 226 hits. Makes me glad I'm merging in the Viking trees, where there are only tens of copies, not hundreds!

Sorry Harald - before I refreshed the page they were there. Some of the perils of being on only a few minutes at a time I guess. I'll find who's working on John of Gaunt and the Plantagenets.

Thanks, Jason! I'm constantly amazed at how anyone can get anything done here - it's so slow to load for me. Time for a new computer I guess (sigh).
