Barak Obama cannot just be said to be African American--he certainly is that, since hisa father was a Kenyan and he was born in America. Burt on his mother's side, he is European American. So Barak Obama's ethnic identity is African-European American.

To make a much grander observation: all human beings have their roots in Africa--it is where our entire human species originated--so all Americans are in essence African American. Some came here directyly from Africa, others came here in a round about manner, by way of Eurasia (even the 'Native Americans' came from Africa by way of Siberia (which is in Eurasia) so they could refer to themselves as African-Siberian Americans. Any Australian aboriginals that came to America would really be African-Australian Americans.

Ultimately, we are all Big Bang Americans, since our really early origins are in the Big Bang. Our unmanmifest origins are in the Great Mystery, so we could call ourselves: Mysterious-Big Bang Americans.

Oy veh, what are we going to tell the U.S. Census workers when she comes knocking on our door.....

We have no proof that God spoke--but if you believe that, it is fine with me.

I expressed my views on the need for a generally acceptable infrastructure
for all world views that does not require either scientific proof or religious belief.
To check my views--you can read my journal article on: The application
of reason to what is self evident - at:

PS: Are you General Wesley Clark, or do you share his name?
