There is a bit of Ram in every Ravan and a bit of Ravan in every Ram. Sita with a low self image (an adopted daughter) warms up to Ravan's sneaking admiration of her beauty. The mythology is seen from a modern psychologist's point of view for which the forest is used as a backdrop.
The story moves at snail's pace and the visuals are also ordinary.
