She sent me a message not to do any merges with her, she is not interested. I think we should un-do any merges with her.

OK good idea, lets use that procedure with those that don't want to merge.

I'm continously unstacking and if needed onlinking profiles of managers not interested to collaborate and merge

including Rulene

Its quite easy to catch noncollaborating profiles - for this is 3 ways (You have sometime check 2 of them)

* during merge request - there is no option to choose to send request. This is typically when the only manager have no collaborators

* during minitree - You can hang the cursor on profile before You drag&drop - then You see more details about profile - including link to manager. You can open this link without loosing minitree (link opens on new window)

* on manager profile view - when You dont see collaborators - this person don't have collaborators.

So we can together agree that unstack noncollaborative profiles and clean the big tree from noncollabrative tree-parts

What happened with Rulene, is that her son in-law (IIRC) had some 15,000 profiles. He had a whole list of collaborators and added "relatives" like myself.

When he left Geni, management of these 15K to be transferred to her, with no warning. As she doesn't want to have to deal with them (as is her right) she doesn't collaborate with anyone (last time I checked).

As her tree is already thoroughly entangled in the main tree it only makes a bigger mess if you cancel them. So please do NOT undo pending merges!

I have PM'd her about mis-configured profiles (of my ancestors) that she manages, but have never received an acknowledgement.
